About the role – Account Manager

We are seeking a passionate Account Manager to work with our Regional Sales Manager NSW/ACT and play a key role in continuing to grow our NSW/ACT trade clientele. The position is fulltime, based in our Sydney Flagship Showroom and Head Office (Surry Hills). Key responsibilities include:

  • Showroom customer service and product presentation for trade clients
  • Managing client portfolio –order requests, samples, information, product care, trouble-shooting, sales leads, monitoring orders through to delivery (including TNT & Designer Transport where required).
  • Building and maintaining strong  and effective working relationships
  • Maintain and develop both active and dormant trade clientele in line with strategic objectives
  • Actively prospecting new trade clients
  • Wholesale channel support including in-store visual inspections of merchandising and collateral, and training of new and current staff to ensure adequate product knowledge.
  • Supporting sales and marketing events e.g. networking opportunities, client entertainment, new collection launches, and media and trade events.

About you:

We are searching for a dynamic sales professional, who can demonstrate high levels of:

  • Problem solving

A background in the architecture and design industry is required, along with access to a car in order to undertake client visits when required. You will also possess physical capability to lift samples or rugs with assistance, in accordance with our workplace WH&S policies and processes.
